I went into this with relatively low expectations and was mostly excited about Resurrection
The beginning of the first episode was embarrassing with the editing and the CGI police car, and I thought, “oh my god, this is not going to work.” By the end of the first episode, I was eating my words because the actors embodied their characters perfectly and the story showed a lot of promise.
Just one episode and I’m hooked!
While we already know most of the story, the first episode had a few surprises that added depth to some of the characters we know and love and added some context to the decisions they made.
